I'm a business English fluency coach, performer, and passionate teacher, helping professionals speak English with confidence, present with clarity, and profit in the international arena.

I'm originally from the Boston area in the United States,

but I’ve lived in the Netherlands for over 30 years, and I’ve made it my mission to help international professionals unlock their English voice.

Teaching lights me up. Nothing frustrates me more than seeing talented people stay quiet, or lose deals, because they’re unsure of their English.

Fun facts about me...

🎭 I’m also an artist - I write, paint, act, make music, and do comedy.

👨‍👦 I have two sons, Mick (21) and Timo (19).

🐶 I live with my partner Dominique and our wonderful dog, Guusje.

🎶 My favorite band is Fat Freddy’s Drop.

🎤 My last concert? Ani DiFranco at Tivoli in Utrecht.

⚽️ My favourite sports are golf and football.

📺 My all-time favorite TV show is Handmaid’s Tale.

🥗 I’ve been vegan since January 2024.
